AESTHETIC AND MEDICAL BOTOX TREATMENTS
Welcome to the introductory Botox training course in Kalasatama, Helsinki, in May or June 2026.
The training sessions are intended for doctors, dentists, and nurses who have not yet performed botulinum toxin treatments or who have performed very few.
Previous experience in performing aesthetic treatments is not required.
In this training course led by oral and maxillofacial surgeon Ville Männistö, you’ll learn to plan and perform aesthetic and medical botulinum toxin treatments on real patients. By the end of the day, you’ll have mastered both the theory and practice of Botox treatments and will be able to treat your own Botox patients.

8:45 a.m.–2:30 p.m.: Aesthetic botulinum toxin treatments

Two different training sessions will be offered on both days
1. Cosmetic botulinum toxin treatments, 8:45 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- Glabellar lines (vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows, so-called frown lines)
- horizontal forehead lines
- Lines on the side of the corner of the eye (so-called laugh lines/crow's feet)

2. Aesthetic and medical botulinum toxin treatments, 8:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Glabellar lines (vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows, so-called frown lines)

- Bruxism (teeth grinding)
- Migraine
- Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

- Note: Nurses may only administer Botox treatments under a doctor’s supervision.

- Participants do not need to find model patients themselves; Ville Männistö and his team will arrange suitable models to be present at the right time.
- There are a limited number of training places available, as we want to keep the group size small. This way, each participant can perform the treatments on their own model patient in a guided, unhurried, and conversational manner.

Botox training day program
The training focuses on hands-on sessions, during which the participants perform injection treatments on model patients.
- 8:45 a.m.: breakfast
- 9–11 a.m.: Lecture 1 and demonstration treatment (aesthetic botulinum toxin treatments)
- 11:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.: hands-on session (with a lunch break)
- 2:30 p.m.: Lecture 2 (Medical Botulinum Toxin Treatments)
- 3:00–5:00 p.m.: hands-on session
- 5:00 p.m.: Summary (medical botulinum toxin treatments) and certificates of completion
